Connecting the Pieces

In 2006, Toledo LISC invited neighborhood organizations across various disciplines such as human services, public services, and development as a in a collaborative effort to create a strategic, placed-based approach in East Toledo.

Strategic Plan for Arts and Culture

The basis of this plan is outlined within the Arts Commission’s definition of placemaking as arts and culture build community.

Art and culture contribute to the development of community by serving as a voice for diverse cultural expression, improving educational attainment, enhancing quality of life, and attracting businesses to the City of Toledo.
